Abstract This Decree-Law is composed of five chapters divided in 55 articles. It introduces in the legal order the Directive No. 2006/21 of European Parliament and Council on the management of waste from extractive industries. It also provides six annexes defining the nature of mineral waste and indicating the practices for its management and disposal.
