It consists of 5 chapters establishing competencies, duties and composition of the aforementioned administration. It specifies its purposes within the forestry sector, such as: technological promotion, research, management, protection of forests (including to combat fires), cooperation with other entities, apiculture activity, registration of apiculturors, regulates hunting activity and internal fishery sector (such as: aquaculture activity, repopulation, issuing of aquaculture licence, research and controls, etc.). It specifies hunting service entitled to carrying out research and controls, issuing hunting licence, etc. It lists sub-national forest services and their different competencies.
