Abstract These Regulations, made under the Animal Feed Act, implement provisions in the Netherlands of Council Directive 90/167/EEC laying down the conditions governing the preparation, placing on the market and use of medicated feedingstuffs in the Community. It regulates the possession, packing, transport, and supply of medicated ingredients ("halffabrikaat") used in feed for animals and of medicated feedingstuffs. Articles 9 and 10 provide rules for prescription by veterinaries of medicated feedingstuffs. The Decree regulates also certain aspects of importation and exportation of medicated feedingstuffs (arts. 18 and 19).
