Abstract This Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development lays down some amendments and addenda to the Decree on fruit jams, jellies, marmalades and sweetened chestnut puree. In particular, the present Decree establishes the new list of additives which can be used for the production of on fruit jams, jellies, marmalades and sweetened chestnut puree. These additives can be: honey as total or partial replacement of sugar, fruit juice in specified cases, edible oil and fat as a defoamer, liquid pectin, citrus husks, pelargonium leaf, spirit, wine, liqueur wine, nuts, aromatic herbs, spices, vanilla and vanilla extracts, vanillin.
