Abstract This Decree of the Ministry of Environment lays down some amendments and addenda to the Decree establishing sustainability criteria and targets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from fuels. In particular the amended art. 9 establishes annual targets for the reduction of life cycle greenhouse gas. The reduction of greenhouse gas emissions can be achieved by: (a) mixing biofuels or placing biofuels on the market; (b) placing on the market of fuels with lower greenhouse gas emissions; (c) supply of electricity for road vehicles; (d) reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the pre-production phase; (e) use of carbon for transport.
