This Decree enters into force on the day after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

This Decree here governs the methods of verification and communication over the necessary compliance (with the conditions foreseen for recognition of geothermal plants) of premium rates (pursuant to the provisions of article 27 of the Ministerial Decree 6 July 2012 on the implementation of article 24 of the Legislative Decree 3 March 2011, n. 28, providing incentives for the production of electricity from plants using renewable energy sources other than photovoltaic) for awarding the incentives for the total reinjection of geothermal fluid in the same formations; for geothermal plants/facilities able to downgrade the hydrogen sulphide and mercury levels present in their production systems; premium-rate geothermal plants that use advanced technologies that are not yet fully commercialized (innovative approach incentives).
