Abstract The present Decree lays down rules on subsidies granted by the Swedish Energy Agency to eligible companies for the production of biogas. The term 'biomethane' is defined as biogas upgraded to a standard required to feed into a methane distribution network. State aid under this Decree shall be provided in accordance with the rules laid down in Commission Regulation (EU) No 651/2014 of 17 June 2014.
