Abstract This Decree partly amends Decree 1273, in particular articles 2 and 3 with the addition of 6 paragraphs (2a-2f). Packaging a product that has been produced to contain, protect, introduce goods, or to be used for delivering as defined in Appendix 2 is labelled with specific terminology which indicates their treatment (biologically degradable components) in order to comply with packaging waste treatment control activities - using micro-organisms, stabilized organic waste products or methane. Articles 1, 4 and 11 do not apply on such packaging for consumption of beverage made from mainly polymeric material or metal pursuant to Decree on Waste (2011:927) and Ordinance (2005:220) concerning the recycling systems for plastic bottles and metal cans.
