Works carried out under this Decree shall, to the extent possible, be coordinated with work carried out according to the Decree (2004: 660) on the management of the quality of the aquatic environment. The Decree requires preliminary flood risk assessments to be carried out, flood hazard maps to be drafted and flood risk areas to be identified. District Councils shall prepare, on the bases of assessment, risk management plans.
