Abstract

In exercise of powers conferred on him by section 4 of the Diseases of Animals Act, the Director of Veterinary Services declares an area described in the Order to be an infected area (arts. 1 and 2). Until further notice, no person shall move cattle from or into the infected area or from place to place for a distance of more than 8 kilometres within the area without a written permit to do so from the Veterinary Officer or any other officer authorized by the Director to give such a permit (art. 3).
