Abstract

This Decision, based on the provisions of the Serbian Law on protection and sustainable use of fish stocks, proclaims that the fishing area "Ritovi donji Potisje" is defined in the zone of the Special Nature Reserve category I "Ritovi donji Potisje", whose northern and southern borders are defined by related Proclamation Decree. It includes also dead nature parts of II level of protection, in the localities of Vrbak, Tsarska zemlja, Mrtvač (Mala and Velika provala), Vrbica, Bečkerečka ada, Jegmeč, Aradački Ajlaš and Komonj. The fishing area "Ritovi donji Potisje" is used for: 1) recreational fishing, in the regime of the II degree of protection, which includes fishing in the localities of Mrtvač (Mala and Velika provala) and Vrbica; 2) selective fishing, based on a permit issued by the competent authority and in the presence of an environmental protection inspector; 3) fishing for scientific and research purposes, based on a permit issued by the competent authority and in the presence of a nature conservationist. Fishing on the fish spawning grounds at the locations Vrbak (corresponding to the fish spawning ground "Eljmaš"), Bečkerečka ada (corresponding to the fish spawning ground "Mošorinska ada"), Jegmeč (corresponding to the fish spawning ground "Vir"), Aradački Ajlaš (corresponding to the fish spawning ground "Mali Aljmaš") and Komonj (which corresponds to the fish spawning ground "Komonj") is prohibited. Fishing in the Tsarska zemlja locality is prohibited. Fishing in the location of the tyke flower habitat is prohibited. This decision will be published in the "Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia", according to the previously obtained opinion of the Minister of Agriculture and Environmental Protection.
