Abstract This Decision, based on the provisions of the COVID-19 Second Wave Mitigation Measures Act, specifies the measure, beneficiaries, conditions, method of calculation and procedure for granting financial compensation for loss of income to apple growers due to the COVID-19 epidemic. The financial compensation shall be granted in the form of a flat-rate financial compensation per hectare of intensive apple orchard. The beneficiary of the financial compensation is the holder of the agricultural holding in accordance with the Agriculture Act. This financial compensation shall be granted in accordance with the Communication from the Commission Temporary Framework for State aid measures in support of the economy in the event of an outbreak of COVID-19.
