Abstract This Decision, based on the provisions of the Croatian Law on climate change and ozone layer protection, here establishes the Commission for intersectoral coordination for the national system for monitoring greenhouse gas emissions. The committee is established for the purposes of monitoring the preparation of reports on greenhouse gas emissions (inventories), including removals by means of sinks, giving opinions on those reports and participating in the review of those reports. The president, deputy president and members of the Commission are appointed by resolution of the Government of the Republic of Croatia on the proposal of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development. The state administration body responsible for the economy and sustainable development is responsible for performing the technical and administrative tasks of the Commission.
