Abstract This Decision prescribes technical requirements and contains provisions on the use of gas for motor vehicles. The Decision consists of 36 articles divided into 8 Chapters: General provisions (I); Requirements of gas use system for motor vehicles (II); The qualification of distributors of components of gas use systems for motor vehicles (III); Control (IV); The circulation of gas devices (V); Sanction (VI); Transitional provisions (VII); Conclusion (VIII). Types of gas use systems are listed in article 2. The gas use systems must meet administrative requirements i.e. approval of the components and certificates, and technical requirements i.e. installation and maintenance (arts. 4 through 20). Agents in charge of distributing components of gas use systems and general motor vehicle workshops are obliged to make a report on the management of information system and database and report periodically the installation and/or transfer of gas use systems in motor vehicles to the Directorate General of Land Transportation (Chapter IV). Gas devices can only be sold and circulated by agents holding certain brands of gas devices which have been tested, approved and validated by the authorized official. Full text English
