Abstract

The National Board of Fisheries, in accordance with the fisheries regulations prescribing designation of certain ports for landing of Greenland halibut, cod, deep-water fish species as well as fish from mixed fishery, shall establish additional fishing regulation measures for 2007 as follows: (a) to approve the ports of Liepaja, Pavilosta and Ventspils for landings of Baltic Sea cod equal to or more than 750 kg of cod on board; for gutted cod - the total landed volume is calculated by the respective recalculation from live fish weight; (b) to approve the ports of Liepaja and Ventspils for landings of sprat and herring and other fish species unsorted mixed catches caught in the Baltic Sea and the Gulf of Riga and in other waters of the European Community if the volumes of the mentioned catches do not allow to be determined; (c) to approve the ports of Riga, Liepaja and Ventspils for landing of Greenland halibut, caught in the waters of the Northwest Atlantic Fisheries Organisation (NAFO) as well as of deep-water fish species; and (d) to approve the ports of Riga, Liepaja and Ventspils for landing or transhipping of frozen fish caught by third country vessels in the NEAFC Convention area.
