Abstract This Decision is divided into 24 articles and 3 Tables. Beneficiaries from this Decision are: marine fisheries cooperatives; tasharukiat (business partnerships); workers in aquaculture as residents in Libya; and members of cooperatives and state fishery companies with headquarters in Libya (art. 1). The percentage of the participation of SMW in the purchase of fishing vessels, boats, new engines, new gear and equipment for fishing and aquaculture is indicated in Tables 1 and 2 (art. 3).The SMW can offer loans to fishery cooperatives, national companies and tasharukiat as well as can also offer monetary assistance in emergency cases (art. 4). Loan repayment schedule is indicated in Tables 1 and 2 (art. 6). Loan collateral is the fishing craft being purchased (art. 8). Craft purchased with assistance is not to be rented, sold and transferred to others before 5 years from the date of purchase and by the regional permission of SMW's offices (art. 13).
