Abstract This Resolution, consisting of 7 articles, aims at protecting animal species by prohibiting fishing, capture, transfer or sale some kinds of cartilaginous fishes, listed in art. 1. Fishermen must immediately release them still alive, after removing the hooks and avoiding any dangers, if caught and inform the concerned department at the Ministry of Agriculture about type and number of these animals even if they are only sighted, alive or dead. Art. 5 prohibits, for any kinds of sharks/dogfish, to cut, transfer, sale and use the fins. The prohibition in art. 6 refers also to the animals with their head cut off or with the skin covered.
