Abstract This Regulation provides for the management of quality, safety and hygiene of bottled natural mineral water used for refreshment purposes. The Regulation consists of 22 articles divided into 7 Chapters: General provisions (I); Regulations on production and import of bottled natural mineral water (II); Regulations on hygienic conditions applicable to establishments producing bottled natural mineral water (III); Responsibilities of owners of establishments and regulations applicable to persons directly engaged in production (IV); Regulations on production process and technical regulations on bottled natural mineral water (V); Regulations on labelling, containing packages, preservation and transport (VI); Implementation provisions (VII). Article 3 defines bottled natural mineral water. Natural mineral water shall be processed by using one or more technical solutions as described in article 14. Attached to the Regulation are 2 Appendixes: Requirements regarding health safety related norms of bottled natural mineral water (1); Requirements regarding microorganisms for bottled natural mineral water (II).
