Abstract

These Regulations, consisting of 70 sections divided into ten Parts and completed by six Schedules, implement the Dangerous Substances Act 1979 by providing specifications on licences and permits (Part 2), transport of dangerous goods (Part 4), the classification and keeping of prescribed dangerous substance (Part 5, Part 7 and Part 9), gas fitting works (Part 6) and on pipelines (Part 8). Schedules deal with the following: Application for licence; Fees; Application for permit; Filling instructions; Certificate of compliance; Compliance plate.
