Abstract

These Regulations amend the Dangerous Substances (Conveyance of Scheduled Substances by Road) (Trade or Business) Regulations, 1980 as a consequence of the Dangerous Substances Act, 1972 (Part IV Declaration) Order, 1986 and amendments to the European Agreement concerning the international carriage of dangerous goods by road (“ADR Agreement”). The amendments concern quantities of a scheduled substances transported by road, certificates of exemption, approval of packagings of scheduled substances, display of plates, labels and warning notices that comply with the ADR Agreement and publication of the code approved for the purposes of Regulations 8, 10 or 19 of the principal Regulations.
