Abstract These Regulations, consisting of 18 Parts and completed by three Schedules, implement the Dangerous Goods Act 1985. They provide for: the safety of persons and property in relation to the manufacture, storage, sale, use, disposal, packaging and labeling, transport and import; for the management of risks arising out of security concerns associated with explosives; for the safe location of vessels containing explosives; and for the prohibition of the misuse of explosives.
