Abstract

The present Regulation implements the Saxon Water Law of 21 July 1998. In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to requirements of planning, construction, operation and maintenance of dams, water reservoirs and retention basins. The text consists of 8 Parts as follows: General provisions (A); Water legislation permits (B); Planning (C); Waterworks constructions (D); Operation and monitoring (E); Maintenance (F); Water plants (G); Entry into force (I). One Annex is enclosed.
