The present Regulations enter into force on 1 August 1978.
Abstract

The present Regulations provide for the enactment of the Animal Products Act. In particular, the Regulations lay down provisions relating to the grading of dairy products. The Regulations – consisting of 18 sections – deals with the following matters: licensing, conditions respecting licensing of graders and testers, licensing fees, licences to be displayed, suspension or cancellation of licences, receiving and handling procedures for cream, grade names, descriptions and standards for cream grading, designated abbreviations for grade names, procedure for dealing with rejected cream, facilities and equipment for milk composition testing, milk samples for milk fat analysis and weighing service procedures.
