Eggs shall be purchased by traders at daytime and only after inspection at such places as are specified in the Second Schedule to the Crop Production and Livestock (African Produce) Rules. The person who transports the eggs shall be in possession of a certificate issued in respect of such eggs. An inspector shall issue a certificate of inspection in respect of inspected eggs. No inspection certificate will be issued for eggs that are not conform the conditions endorsed on the licence authorizing the purchase of such eggs, issued under section 4 of the Agricultural Produce Marketing Act.
