According to the Law, cultivation of poppy, importation, exportation or production of any types of narcotics, storage and supply of narcotics and drug usage are prohibited and will be punished by fine, imprisonment or death penalty. The drug trafficking shall be punished by death penalty and all property that has been gained thereby, shall be confiscated by the government. The Law established the Counter Narcotics Committee.
