Abstract

This Regulation sets out the criteria determining when aluminium scrap (including aluminium alloy scrap) cease to be considered waste for the purposes of Directive 2008/98/EC, which lays down measures to protect the environment and human health by preventing or reducing the adverse impacts of the generation and management of waste.
