Abstract

This Regulation sets out the fishing opportunities for certain fish stocks and groups of fish stocks (namely herring, cod, plaice, Atlantic salmon and sprat) in the Baltic Sea for 2013. Annex I lays down the applicable Total Allowable Catches, the quotas and related conditions for fishing. As a general rule, fish from stocks for which catch limits are established may be retained on board or landed only if the catches have been taken by vessels of a Member State having a quota and that quota is not exhausted.
