Abstract

This Regulation lays down some amendments and addenda to Regulation (EC) No. 43/2009 fixing for 2009 the fishing opportunities and associated conditions for certain fish stocks and groups of fish stocks. It adds new Chapter VIIIa, which concerns labelling of fish frozen after being caught in the NEAFC Convention Area by Community vessels of third country vessels. Further addenda deal with maximum number of vessels fishing bluefin tuna in the Eastern Atlantic and the Adriatic Sea, as well as maximum number of vessels fishing bluefin tuna in the Mediterranean applicable to the Community coastal artisanal fishery.
