Entry into force notes: This Regulation shall enter into force on the seventh day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Communities.

Abstract: This Regulation amends Regulation (EC) No. 66/98. Article 2(1) shall be replaced by the following: only those vessels named in the list mentioned in paragraph 2 and which have a special fishing permit issued in accordance with Article 7 of Regulation (EC) No. 1627/94 by the Member State whose flag they fly shall have the right to carry out fishing activities in the area defined in article 1. Article 4 is amended, in article 5 is indicated the the total allowable catch and by-catch fishing. Annex
