This Regulation entered into force on 15 October 2002.
Abstract

Regulation 2555/2001/EC is hereby amended as follows: paragraph 1 of article 17(1) shall be replaced by article 1(1) of this Regulation; paragraph 5 shall be added to article 18. In accordance with such new paragraph, Member States shall report daily to the Commission the quantity of Northern prawns (Pandalus borealis) caught in Division 3L of the NAFO (Northwest Atlantic Fisheries Organization) Regulatory Area by vessels flying the flag of a Member State and registered in the Community. Furthermore, Annexes IA, IB, ID, IE and IF shall be amended as set forth in Annexes I, II, III, IV and V to this Regulation respectively. The Annexes establish the total allowable catch of certain fish species in the waters referred therein. Article 1(8) fixes the mesh size for fishing for cod with towed nets.
