Abstract

This Regulation lays down the conditions and the procedure to be followed to set up a European Cooperative Society (SCE). These conditions include the minimum capital, the composition and the statutes of the SCE. The Regulation consists of the following Chapters: (I) General provisions; (II) Formation; (III) Structure of the SCE; (IV) Issue of shares conferring special advantage; (V) Allocation of profits; VI) Annual accounts and consolidated accounts; (VII) Winding up, liquidation, insolvency and cessation of payments; (VIII) Additional and transitional provisions; (IX) Final provisions.
