Abstract

There are hereby laid down particular amendments to Directive 93/53/EEC which establishes minimum measures intended to control certain fish diseases. In compliance with new article 6, point (a), as modified by article 1 of this Directive, as soon as the presence of a fish disease has been confirmed in an infected farm, all fish shall be withdrawn in accordance with a scheme established by the official service of the competent Member State and approved by the Commission in accordance with the procedure laid down in article 19(2). Further amendments regard vaccination.
