Abstract

The Governor-General may, by Proclamation, declare that waters (a) that are wholly within a distance of 5 nautical miles from, or from the limits, of an installation; or (b) that are wholly within a distance of 2 nautical miles from the limits of defence on which there is not an installation, are naval waters for the purposes of this Act (sect. 3B).
