An application for an export license shall be made in the prescribed form to the Secretary for Trade and shall include the following: (a) a duly completed export license application form; (b) the physical address of the exporter’s business and warehouse where the maize or maize product is stocked; (c) a Business Registration Certificate or Certificate of Incorporation; (d) a Business Residence Permit or Permanent Residence Permit for non-Malawians; (e) an identification document; and (f) a letter of authority to export from the Ministry of Agriculture stating source and quantity of maize or maize product and country of destination.
