Abstract

By way of implementation of Directive 92/119/EC, the present Rules establish particular measures aimed at the control of certain animal diseases, giving particular regard to the swine vesicular disease. It is compulsory for the suspected presence in the national territory of any of such diseases to be notified immediately to the Veterinary Services. Specific measures concerning animals living in the wild which are infected or suspected of being infected are envisaged as well.
