Abstract

These Regulations, made by the Minister under sections 11 and 18 of the Fishermen Welfare Fund Act, requires a Contributory Scheme for Bank Fishermen to be set up. The Scheme shall be managed by the Board of the Fishermen Welfare Fund. The objects of the Scheme shall be to provide financial assistance during the months of June, July and August of each year to bank fishermen participating in the Scheme.
