Abstract

This Act defines the Continental Shelf of the Bahamas Islands, regulates certain activities on the seabed and in the subsoil and waters of the maritime area, provides for enforcement of the law, provides for the application of civil and penal law and for the prosecution of offences. The Governor may grant licenses to or enter into agreement with any person for the exploration and exploitation of parts of the Continental Shelf under section 10. (12 sections)
