Abstract

The present Ordinance implements the Environment Protection Act of 29 May 2008. The purpose of the present Ordinance is to ensure that contaminated sites shall be repaired, if they cause harmful or annoying effects on the environment or if the concrete danger exists that such effects shall occur. The text consists of 25 articles divided into 8 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Cadastre of contaminated sites (II); Need of monitoring and remediation (III); Objectives and urgency of remediation (IV); Remediation (V); Obligation of research, surveillance and remediation measures (VI); Procedure (VII); Final provisions (VIII). Three Annexes are enclosed.
