Abstract

These Regulations amend the Consumer Protection (Control of Imports) Regulations 1999 in the Fifth Schedule in relation with imported rice. The Fifth Schedule specifies conditions under which the goods should be imported. Rice imported by traders other than the State Trading Corporation shall not contain more than ten percent broken rice.
