Abstract

The present Order is made, inter alia, under the authority of the Newfoundland and Labrador Chicken Marketing Scheme and the Natural Products Marketing Act. Section 4 establishes that a certain service charge per kilogram, payable live weight, will be made by the Chicken Farmers of Newfoundland and Labrador on all chicken marketed under the Newfoundland and Labrador Chicken Marketing Scheme and the charges shall be collected and paid to the Chicken Farmers of Newfoundland and Labrador by the processor on behalf of the producers within 30 days from the date of the processing of the chicken.
