Abstract

These Regulations amend the Conservation of Wild Life Regulations in regulation 6: (a) in subregulation (1A), by deleting the word “No” and substituting the words “Subject to subregulation (1B), no”; and (b) by inserting after subregulation (1A), the following subregulation: “ (1B) Subregulation (1A) shall not apply to the following birds referred to in Part III of the Second Schedule to the Act: (a) Budgerigar (Melopsittacus undulatus) ; (b) Canary (Serinus canaria) ; (c) Cockatiel (Nymphicus hollandicus) ; and (d) Lovebirds (Agapornis spp.) .”. Regulation 6 concerns close seasons.
