Abstract

This Conservation Measure of the South East Atlantic Fisheries Organisation sets out Total allowable catches for Patagonian Toothfish, Deep-Sea Red Crab, Alfonsino, Orange Roughy and Pelagic Armourhead in specified areas and requires each Contracting Party to ensure that their vessels fishing in the SEAFO Convention Area shall send reports pursuant to Article 10, 11, 12 and 18 of the System of Observation, Inspection, Compliance and Enforcement to the Secretariat. Bycatch in trawl fishery targeting armourhead and alfonsino is seperately regulated. The Executive Secretary shall close the fisheries when the total allowable catches are deemed to be exhausted.
