This CMM provides for the protection of deep-sea shark species listed in Annex 1 within the Agreement Area and obliges all CCPs to ensure that fishing vessels flying their flag do not target any of these species. This CMM sets a catch limit for Portuguese dogfish (Centroscymnus coelolepis) in subarea 2, starting from 1 January 2024. The fishing season for this catch limit is the calendar year. Annex 1 lists “high risk” and “of concern” deep sea shark species for the purposes of this CMM. Full text English Website siofa.org
