The licensee shall (i) implement an approved quality assurance program; (ii) comply with the Manual of Brunei Darussalam on Hygiene Requirements for Fish Processing Establishments; (iii) comply with the Manual of Brunei Darussalam on Hygiene Requirements for Fishery Products Export to the European Union (EU) for export to the EU; (iv) ensure that employees are free from any contagious disease that may contaminate the processed product by ensuring their regular medical examination; (v) comply with every directive relating to the control and management of the licensed fish processing establishment, including withdrawal and discontinuation of the sale, supply, or distribution of products believed to be adulterated, contaminated, or otherwise unfit for human consumption; (vi) obtain fish for processing from sources that do not contravene the Fisheries Order, 2009 or any other written law; (vii) allow authorized officers to inspect the premises and the related equipment; (viii) prepare and submit the required reports including data of the fish processing establishment and records of the daily activities of the establishment.
