Abstract

These Regulations shall apply to the importation of deboned meat from Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay into Malaysia. Animals must come from holding yards certified to be free from Foot and Mouth Disease, Rinderpest and Anthrax, and must also have been slaughtered at approved abattoirs as per regulations 3 and 4. Further provisions regard packaging and storage sanitary conditions. Regulation 4 deals with transport conditions and veterinary health certificates that must accompany meat consignments.
