Abstract

The present Regulations continue in force under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999. In particular, the Regulations lay down provisions relating to the concentration of phosphorus in laundry detergent. ??In this connexion, section 3 establishes that the concentration of phosphorus in any laundry detergent shall not exceed five per cent by weight expressed as phosphorus pentoxide or 2.2 per cent by weight expressed as elemental phosphorus. The text consists of 3 sections.
