Abstract

This Title of Article 15 of the Environmental Conservation Law of New York (the Article 15 being known as the Water Resources Law of New York) concerns comprehensive public water supply studies and reports. "Comprehensive study and report" shall mean a comprehensive engineering and economic feasibility study and the resultant plan for the development of projects to provide adequately for present and reasonably foreseeable area-wide public water supply system needs. The Title further provides for the powers and duties of the department of environmental conservation of New York, the state Commissioner of Health, and local agencies in relation to the noted comprehensive public water supply studies and reports.
