The present Ordinance enters into force on 1 September 2001.
Abstract

The present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to quality requirements for the production of compost from organic waste. The Ordinance also regulates the marking and bringing into circulation of such products. The text – consisting of 16 articles - deals with the following matters: sphere of application, definition of terms, general requirements for the production of compost, additional requirements for compost in agriculture, control and registration, control of the final product, provisions on marking, duties of producers, transitional provisions, entry into force. Six Annexes are enclosed.
