Abstract This Law creates the School Feeding Committee of the State of Rondônia (CAERO) with the purpose of informing the State Secretariat of Education about the implementation of the National School Feeding Programme in state public schools. The Committee has specific responsibility for: monitoring and controlling the application of resources transferred to the National School Feeding Programme (PNAE); receive, analyse and send to the National Fund for the Development of Education (FNDE), the PNAE's account payment; ensure the quality of products at all levels, from acquisition to distribution, always complying with hygiene and sanitary requirements; guide the storage of foodstuff in warehouses or schools; inform SEDUC about irregularities with foodstuff, such as: validity, deterioration, diversion and theft, so that due measures are taken; appraise and vote annually on the PNAE action plan to be presented by SEDUC; disclose in public places the financial resources of the PNAE transferred to SEDUC; present reports of activities to the FNDE, when requested; etc. Full text Portuguese Website sapl.al.ro.leg.br
