This Law enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Law, consisting of 7 Chapters, regulates fishing activities, aquaculture, mariculture and aquatic animal protection. It provides for commercialization, industrialization, transport and other activities related to fish products within the State of Tocantins, aiming at the protection of aquatic animals. In addition, establishes the State competent authority, called “Natureza do Tocantins – NATURATINS”, entitled to issue fishing authorization, carry out controls, give advice and monitoring any activity related to the above mentioned sector.
